After dithering about on it for some time, the game now has a new title: CASTLE GOTHIC.

All references to the old title in file names, screenshots, and the itch page have been updated.

This was the alternate title pre-release, but I had to go with Septem Irae due to time constraints. The old title was borne from fiddling about with Latin to make something that harkened to 'dies irae', while Castle Gothic both came more naturally and speaks to the major inspiration for this project, "Mexican Gothic" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
