The Promised Updates


I tussled with myself over whether to classify this as a general or major update; so here we are: those things I promised when I originally uploaded this project last minute!

In this new (and likely last) update, I implemented a variety of things promised on the original project page, such as:

  • Narrative Add-ons — changed the intro text to each day so you aren't reading the same text every time Aiseh wakes up in the morning
  • New Art — as promised, I drew better quality sprites, and even gave them expressions, to better match the games dithery design
  • Accessibility Features — There are now options to change the font size or use a dyslexia friendly font, credits for which can be found in the menu
  • QOL Stuff — changed the way the options look so you aren't clicking large chunks of text in-game, and, as a result, there are also a few minor edits to ensure the text isn't disappearing off-scree
  • GUI Stuff — not much, but the main menu and text screens now have a little more pizzaz (as much as my currently limited skill can provide)

In retrospect, it's not much, but I do hope the changes that have been made lead to a better all-around gameplay experience!
